Music on the Mesa with SOFAKILLERS
— (MDT, UTC-06) — (MDT, UTC-06)
Gold Hill Mesa, 142 S Raven Mine Dr. , Colorado Springs, CO 80906
Strictly a cover band, the SofaKillers got together at the end of 2009. They are so named to encourage people to "get off the sofa and support local music,". The band sticks to rock, funk, pop and disco mainly but will cover songs from any genre. Everything from the Bee Gees to Guns N' Roses, as they explain. Their criteria to add a song to the repertoire is that it has to be danceable, and a song people know. Lots of fun for the whole family. Don't forget your lawn chairs. Food trucks will be on hand and beer and wine will be available for those 21+.
