The FREE Summer concerts at Gold Hill Mesa kick off with GROOVE GODDESS, a powerhouse All-Star All Female R&B, soul, funk, supergroup. The band features nine seasoned female members from popular Colorado bands who play, sing, and groove to classic songs we all love. Their musicianship is top notch, their lead vocals and harmonies will melt your heart. Come see for yourself, these powerful musicians and vocalists blending their collective talents to bring out the “Groove Goddess” in You! The set list will make you want to dance and sing along, so bring your best friends for a celebration of women in music. Our fearless leader bassist Jodie Woodward dreamed up this women centric event to shine a light on women in the Colorado music scene. We have been joining forces for many years under many different band names including Women Rock The Night, Ladies Sing the Blues, All-Star Female Revue and Hermonious. We have graced the stages of the Buffalo Rose, Niwot Rock and Rails, Nissi’s, and the Boulder Creek Festival, just to name a few. We are bonded by our love of music and friendship in an industry where we have been overlooked and underestimated. We collaborate for a cause, We are strong, but we are stronger together! Food trucks and Alcohol (21 +) will be available. Don't forget to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. This is a FREE EVENT for all ages!
