Pot luck and social hour: 6:00 pm - Show at 7:00 pm. This is an outdoor concert. Olease bring your own lawn chair and beverage.

The remarkable musicians, artists and truly American characters we meet in our travels around the country inspired the idea for In Cahoots House Concerts, an ongoing series that funnels an eclectic stream of musicians off the road and through our home town of Colorado Springs. We are constantly amazed at the level of talent we cross paths with and have dedicated ourselves to finding a way to present them to our audiences in Colorado. These are great artists still flying under the national radar that have moved us, and consequently inspired us, to assist in their promotion in Colorado. We believe they are all exceptional and unique artists worth your attention and the suggested donation.

We’d like to thank Bob and Nikki Weizenecker, co-producers of this series, for opening their home in Manitou Springs and hosting these concerts. Their love of good music and gathering with friends has evolved into the perfect venue for us to share these unique musicians with both the Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs communities.

Two of the Pikes Peak Region's most well known artists have joined forces!

KJ Braithwaite has been a musician since he first picked up his brother's guitar and father's harmonica at age 10, and, as KJ says, "the Beatles opened up my world". Originally from Salt Lake City, KJ became a fixture on the Colorado music scene playing the ski resorts for many years. After moving to Colorado Springs KJ has been known for his musical associations with Joe Uveges and Susan Rissman, the Kings of Clubs and Andy Clifton, as well as a solo artist.

George Whitesell grew up in the Hudson River Valley of New York where he started playing in bands at the age of 15. His musical popularity in Colorado Springs started growing since moving here in the 1970's. In 1983 his recording of "Pray For Me, I Drive Academy" became a regional hit. George is most well-known as a solo artist and for the bands, Eclectic Rhythm & Blues, Metro Blues and George Whitesell & His All Stars featuring Jill Watkins.

Braithwaite & Whitesell have a combined experience professionally playing music of over 100 years!

A typical Braithwaite & Whitesell performance combines an eclectic blend of popular songs featuring tight vocal harmony with distinctive original material and expert musicianship.
